QPR consider audacious move for Tottenham playmaker

QPR manager, Neil Warnock, is set to offer Jermaine Jenas the chance of regular first team football by bringing the midfielder to Loftus Road.

Jenas has found first team chances hard to come by in recent seasons, and may look at the freshly purchased Rangers as an ideal alternative.

Tony Fernandes completed the takeover of the London club last week, and is ready to inject some much welcomed cash into the side in an effort to attain Premier League survival.

The Hoops are looking to take Jenas, 28, on a season-long loan with a view to completing a £5m permanent move if the club stay up.

Warnock noted: “In 10 days, I’ve got to do 12 weeks’ work. In an ideal world, we’ve always done it early.”

Adding: “It wasn’t possible and we’ve just got to try to grasp this opportunity and strengthen the squad to give us a chance up to Christmas.”
