Queens Park Rangers have had a bid accepted by Blackpool for DJ Campbell, as the Londoners look to buff up their attack before the new campaign.
A clause in Campbell’s contract dictates that the forward is granted permission to speak to any club that offers £1.25m for him.
The 29 year-old was one of Blackpool’s standout players last season, despite the Seasiders’ relegation from the top-flight.
Scoring 13 goals in 31 appearances made Campbell one of the highest-scoring Englishmen in the Premier League.
QPR will now discuss personal terms with DJ and his representatives ahead of a move which will take the striker straight back to the Premier League.
