Neil Warnock has stated his intent to sign Republic of Ireland international, Robbie Keane, in what could be the club’s last summer signing.
The Queens Park Rangers boss has had to survive on a weak budget this summer, signing Kieron Dyer, Jay Bothroyd and Danny Gabbidon on free transfers.
Warnock commented on his limited amount of money, saying: “They’ve made it clear to me we’ve got to try and get value for money and not to spend transfer fees,”
However, the ex-Sheffield United manager is pleased with the value they’ve gotten so far, adding: “Look at the players I’ve brought in, Kieron Dyer and Jay Bothroyd. It’s not all doom and gloom.”
