Its another Super Sunday of football action in the Premier League as Paddy Power announce a new free bets offer and release the latest odds on QPR v Reading and Liverpool v Newcastle.
Sunday afternoon sees two very important games take place in the Premier League, albeit for different reasons.
First up, it is a battle between the two sides yet to win in the top flight this campaign as Reading travel to Loftus Road to take on Queens Park Rangers.
Confidence in each camp is very low right now and they are both looking at this encounter as a must win. The team who does come out on top could even find themselves out of the bottom three come the final whistle on Sunday afternoon.
Super Sunday : Paddy Power Free Bet Offer
We’ve a cracking Sunday of sport, kicking off with QPR v Reading as Paddy Power celebrate with the announcement of a new free bets offer worth £50/50 to all customers to spend on any game today! Claim here!
For the money QPR have spend, their form has simply not been good enough and Mark Hughes will know failure to secure all three points here would leave him under a lot of pressure as his team currently prop up the Premiership table. The side will also be missing Stephane Mbia, who is serving a three match ban, while Bobby Zamora, who is yet to hit top form with his new club is also out with a hip problem.
It would take a brave punter to back QPR in their current form at odds of 4/6, and the value in this match probably lies elsewhere.
As for Reading, Brian McDermott’s men are in for a long season and it is his job to try and reinstall spirits in the squad after letting a four-goal-lead slip in the Capital One Cup against Arsenal on Tuesday.
The 4PM kick-off on Sunday is between Liverpool and Newcastle at Anfield. They also look to be two sides of equal ability right now and would have started the campaign with high hopes of breaking into the top four.
However, neither have yet hit the heights they would have wanted and the Magpies are in ninth place, with the Reds in twelfth. Brendan Roger’s side are a very short looking 1/2 for the home win, while bookies it seems once again priced this one up a little top heavy in favour of the home side, with Newcastle looking a very backable price of 5/1 to take the three points back to Tyneside.
Luis Suarez and Demba Ba are both likely to be in action, which means there could be plenty of goals in this one as both are in red-hot form right now. Suarez has netted six times in the league and Ba seven. The Uruguayan can be backed at 4/1 to find the net first, while the value seems to be with Newcastle striker Ba, who at 9/1 is sure to attract plenty of support – that price looks too good to miss.
With this being a game between two evenly matched sides that love to play attacking football, we could be in for a treat.
Two very interesting game on Sunday afternoon await.
