Horse Racing Live Streaming Schedule : Racing Post Trophy highlight of Saturday Card as Kingsbarns tough to beat

There’s a bumper racing card from Doncaster today, with the Racing Post Trophy the highlight with Aiden O Brien’s Kingsbarns the one to beat as fans can watch the race with Ladbrokes and their live stream service.

It is a case of Aidan O’Brien up against the rest this weekend as we reach the final Group 1 race in the flat season calendar, 2012 Racing Post Trophy takes place at Doncaster.

The Irish trainer has six of the 15 entries for this Group 1 race and he is aiming for a second successive victory.

Last year, O’Brien saw Camelot storm to victory as the race favourite demolished the field at odds of 10/11, and this made it six wins in the last 15 Racing Post Trophy events. Following on from Sir Henry Cecil, O’Brien is the dominant trainer in this one mile race.

Unsurprisingly, O’Brien boasts the favourite going into the race too. It was originally Battle of Marengo  that led the way in terms of betting, but Kingsbarns has now emerged as the horse to beat.

The two-year-old colt is one of O’Brien’s biggest prospects for the Classics next year and is being massively backed for Doncaster this weekend. With Joseph O’Brien – the jockey victorious with Camelot last year – will take charge of the favourite and can be backed at 2/1 for the win.

You then have Trading Leather sandwiched in between these two at 11/2. The Jim Bolger trained horse is the main contender to upset O’Brien on the day and is in good shape after winning the Autumn Stakes at Newmarket.

Looking beyond the three horses mentioned already, you have Steeler (5/1), Van Der Neer (7/1) and First Cornerstone (9/1) to consider. You can get great odds of 50/1 for Sir Patrick Moore, so a winner could come from further adrift.

Overall, it should be a very competitive race from start to finish. With a fascinating battle between O’Brien’s two biggest hopefuls on the cards and Jim Bolger’s Trading Leather trying to crash the party.

It all unfolds at Doncaster Racecourse on Saturday afternoon.
