Real Madrid at loggerheads with Chelsea over Brazilian starlet
Real Madrid are at the centre of a transfer battle regarding Brazilian starlet and Chelsea target Neymar. The 19 year old Santos forward has been the subject of huge speculation worldwide these last few months regarding a move to West London but sources suggest that Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid are also very interested.
Chelsea already have an offer on the table for Neymar, but since it was made nothing has progressed. Whether this is because Santos are awaiting a bigger offer from Real remains to be seen but it is unclear as to how much Chelsea will be willing to pay out for this highly talented youngster and whether they are prepared to snap him up this summer or next.
The player recently said he was happy at Santos but most footballers say that a few weeks before moving on to their “dream club” however you can see the attraction that Stamford Bridge and the Bernabeu would have for someone so young.
Whilst unclear whether Real have just made their interest known or also tabled a bid, it looks as though a move will be on for the youngster to either of the two clubs, which? will be one of the biggest questions this summer window is going to ask and one that fans are desperate to hear an answer to.
