Lassana Diarra has calmed speculation linking him with a move to White Hart Lane and insists he wants to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Real Madrid enforcer has been associated with the North London club for weeks now, and there were rumours that Spurs were close to sealing his £10.6m signature earlier this month.
The French international played under Tottenham boss, Harry Redknapp, during his spell at Portsmouth, and a reunion was apparently in the midst.
However speaking to AS, the midfielder said: “The information about my departure is a lie.”
He added: “There is no agreement from Tottenham and I do not think there will be.”
