Koke has been LFC 2 centerin decent form for Atletico this term, creating 36 chances from 18 league appearances, eight of which have been assists, and with an average pass accuracy of 79%. With Gerrard leaving, he would be an ideal replacement in the heart of that Liverpool midfield.

Next up for Diego Simeone’s men is a huge clash with Barca in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals tomorrow.

In this season, the Reds currently sit eighth on 35 points; just five outside the top four. Next up for them is a home clash with West Ham at Anfield on Saturday, the side directly above them in the table.
