Reina agent dismisses Liverpool exit talk – Thursday’s Rumour Round-up

The agent of Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina has denied that he is looking to leave after a sketchy start to the new Premier League season. The 30-year-old has been a mainstayat Anfield ever since joining from Villarreal in 2005 but an alarming dip in form has cast doubt over his long-term future on Merseyside. Rumours have since gathered that Reds boss Brendan Rodgers will look to sign Michael Vorm from old club Swansea in January with suggestions that he is being lined up to replace Reina. Klose rejected summer move to Spurs – Germany striker Miroslav Klose claims he rejected a move to Tottenham Hotspur during the summer. Spurs chased a number of strikers during the transfer window eventually signing Emmanuel Adebayor on a permanent deal from Manchester City and Klose revealed the North London club approached him over a potential move. The 34-year-old eventually signed for Lazio on a free transfer and will come up against his former suitors on Thursday in a Europa League tie at White Hart Lane. Metro

Hammers chasing former Pompey midfielder – West Ham United are reportedly looking to sign former Portsmouth midfielder Anthony vanden Borre. The Belgian international is available on a free transfer after leaving hometown club Genk in the summer and is looking to earn himself a contract at Upton Park.
