Roberto Mancini: Mario Balotelli could be the hero
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is of the firm belief that twenty year old striker Mario Balotelli could be the hero as the Eastlands club prepare for a semi final FA Cup clash with Manchester United.
Balotelli has been criticised recently for his on and off field attitude which has seen the youngster being sent off in an important Europa League tie.
However Mancini knows that should Balotelli take some responsibility it could be all change.
“Mario knows he must take more responsibility, we have six league games, plus the semi-final and the final. I hope Mario can score important goals. He could be the hero. On Saturday, if he plays, he has a chance to do well.”
The Manchester City manager added.
“Maybe if he scores a goal it could take us to the final. That would change his year.”
