Rochdale striker Elding edges closer to Plymouth move
Anthony Elding is very close to completing his switch to Plymouth from Rochdale, according to the Pilgrims website.
The 29 year-old is said to have impressed Plymouth boss Peter Reid in Rochdale’s midweek game, despite the team losing.
The striker has a year left to run on his contract at Rochdale, but is expected in Devon today to agree terms and undergo a medical for the south-coast club.
If Elding does seal his move to the Pilgrims, he will become manager Peter Reid’s sixth signing of the summer.
