We’re all set for yet another enthralling day of racing comes from Royal Ascot on Friday afternoon as we are treated to day four of the famous festival.

The Coronation Stakes will be the main attraction for punters on Thursday, but we also have a Group 2 encounter taking place in the shape of the King Edward VII Stakes.

Royal Ascot Day Four: Paddy Power Free Bets Offer

Its Day 4 at Royal Ascot as Paddy Power release a free bet offer worth £250/€250 to customers to spend on any race, while the firm is also offering 6 places each way on the Buckingham Stakes at 17:35! – claim here!

Also, the Albany Stakes, Wolferton Rated Stakes, Queen’s Vase Stakes and Buckingham Palace Stakes come to our screens and all are sure to be entertaining.

The Coronation Stakes is the place to start though as it is one of the most prestigious races that is open to fillies only and this year, we are all set for a scintillating encounter.

This race is run over the distance of one mile and at the moment, the 11/4 favourite is Just The Judge.

This horse has an impressive record of four wins from five races and despite being beaten by second favourite Sky Lantern earlier in the year, she is sure to be a popular bet.

Since that defeat, Just The Judge has won at Curragh, so bounced back well and the reason for the defeat could have been that it was her first run over a mile. She is now experienced over this distance though and could be tough to look past.

You simply cannot write off Sky Lantern though, especially with odds of 5/1. She knows what it takes to beat the favourite and is trained by Richard Hannon.

Big Break is certainly another horse that could be involved though and she has odds of 13/2. A big run is needed, but she has quality.

Pavlosk (8/1), Slyenica  (12/1) and Snow Queen (18/1) might be the best three in the each-way market for the Coronation Stakes.

This race could be one of the best of the entire week at Royal Ascot.

As mentioned though, we have plenty more action on Thursday and the six furlong sprint which is the Albany Stakes will set the tone for the day.

Sandiva at 3/1 and Joyeuse at 7/2 look set to battle it out for the victory in this one and with both horses unbeaten so far, it could be an epic battle. Lady Cecil’s Joyeuse might just get the nod though, especially after her first win of the week in the Ribblesdale Stakes on Wednesday.

The King Edward VII Stakes comes after this one and in truth this one mile, four furlong encounter is all about one horse – Battle Of Marengo.

He was seen coming fourth in the Epsom Derby and is at 4/6 to take this one. In truth, Aidan O’Brien’s charge is going to take some beating.

Greatwood could challenge him though as he is next in the betting at 9/1.

After this one comes the Wolferton Handicap, which is sure to be another cracking battle. It is likely to be a tough one to predict and the current favourite is Albasharah at 6/1.

However, Forgotten Voice could prove to be the best value at 14/1.

At 5pm we have the Queen’s Vase In Memory Of Sir Henry Cecil and this could prove to be one of the highlights of the day.

The one many will be hoping comes out on top here is Disclaimer as this horse runs for Lady Cecil and has Tom Quellay doing the steering. If Disclaimer is to win though, he will have to beat 2/1 favourite Leading Light.

Finally, the Buckingham Palace Stakes rounds off the action and another close meeting is expected as there are 29 runners for this seven furlong clash.

Bring on another superb day of action.
