Borussia Dortund are seen as slight 5/6 favourites by Paddy Power to defeat Schalke in the Revierderby whilst league leaders Bayern take on newly promoted Hertha Berlin at the Allianz Arena.
After experiencing contrasting fortunes on Tuesday in the Champions League, both Schalke and Dortmund will both have the same aim of picking up victory in the Revierderby on Saturday afternoon.
Despite losing to Chelsea on Tuesday, Schalke will still be fully pumped for the game as they look to leap frog Hertha Berlin into 4th place in the standings.
Schalke will be without several of their star players with the likes of Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Jefferson Farfan and Marco Hoger all out injured for the derby game.
It means that Hungarian forward Adam Szalai will be the most likely to lead the attack for Schalke meanwhile Kevin Prince-Boateng will likely drop back into midfield and fill the void left by the absence of Marco Hoger.
Borussia Dortmund enjoyed a much better time in the Champions league as they ended Arsenal’s 13 game unbeaten streak with a 2-1 win in London and Jurgen Klopp will be keen to use the momentum to help them try and reclaim the lead in the Bundesliga.
Dortmund will likely stick with the same squad that inflicted the defeat against Arsenal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Robert Lewandowski and Marco Reus all expected to start the game.
However, Jurgen Klopp could hand a start to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who has put in some impressive performances domestically this season which could warrant a start in the Revierderby.
Meanwhile, league leaders Bayern Munich are unlikely to get things all their own way at home as they face a very strong Hertha Berlin side.
Bayern are currently a point clear at the top of the Bundesliga and know that they need to get a good result to stop Dortmund or Bayer Leverkusen from moving into the top spot.
Pep Guardiola is likely to rotate some of the squad around from the one that beat Viktoria Plzen on Wednesday night and could see Jerome Boateng, Tony Kroos and Diego Contento all start for the defending champions.
Hertha have surprised everyone in the Bundesliga so far with the newly promoted side currently on a four game unbeaten streak and sitting fourth in the table.
Manager Jos Luhukay will likely stick to the same squad that beat Borussia Monchengladbach last time out meaning that striker Levan Kobiashvili is likely to act as the main support for striker Adrian Ramos.
Bayern will no doubt be given a thorough test at home but the Revierderby is certainly a fixture Dortmund need to win to maintain the pressure on their title rivals at the top of the Bundesliga.
