Sergio Aguero opens door for Premiership move
Sergio Aguero has shocked Athletico Madrid fans by insisting he wants to leave the Spanish side this summer.
Aguero, who will be 23 this June has been linked with a host of English clubs such as Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur. His price is said to be around the £40m and whilst the Argentine wishes for a move he admits he will still find it incredibly sad to leave the club.
“After five intense years a stage in my personal development has ended and I have to move on to a new one,I said long ago that when I wanted to go, I would say so publicly, and the time has come.
The striker added.
“So I keep to my word and here I am. I find it hard to leave Atletico. It hurts and saddens me.”
Now Aguero has opened the doors to a Premiership move surely it is only a matter of time before one of the Premierhsip sides makes a bid. Tevez’s anticipated departure from Manchester City may be the catalyst for Roberto Mancini whislt Tottenham are in the market for a top drawer striker.
