Last weekend was a fantastic one for Juventus in Serie A and this week, they will look to increase their advantage at the top of the table.

Results were kind for them elsewhere too with Inter Milan losing to Atlanta and now The Old Lady are four points clear at the top.

The defending Champions kick things off this weekend too as they host Lazio from 6pm on Saturday evening in arguably the pick of this weekend’s fixtures.

The away side will be in good spirits from their 3-2 win over Roma last time out,  however Vladimir Petkovic’s side’s away form is patchy to say the least,  with a 4-0 thrashing by Catania in their last outing on the road, so Juventus at 1/2 could see plenty of support.

Saturday evening brings another potentially epic encounter too with Napoli and Milan going head to head. The hosts are 3rd in the table after an excellent away win at Genoa last time out and they will be confident mood going into this one.

The same cannot be said to Milan. Fresh from the 3-1 home defeat to Fiorentina, they have only won two of their last eight matches across all competitions and sit 13th after 12 Serie A games, their worst start to a campaign for decades.

With Serie A top goalscorers set to feature, Stephan El Shaarawy for AC Milan and Edinson Cavani for Napoli, it should be an exciting encounter as Massimiliano Allegri looks for an improvement at the Stadium San Paolo.

Moving onto Sunday, there are eight games to keep us entertained. There are plenty of tough to call matches too with in-form duo Fiorentina and Atalanta going head to head a particular highlight.

Other matches taking place include Catania hosting Chievo, struggling Siena and Pescera going head to head and Bologna – who can’t seem to buy a win at the moment – at home to mid-table Palermo.

Second placed Inter Milan will look to keep up the pressure at the top of the table following their defeat last week as they take on Cagliari at the San Siro, while Udinese and Parma – who are separated by just a point going into this weekend – complete the 3pm kick-offs on Sunday.

The final game on Sunday, which gets underway at 8.45pm, see Sampdoria go up against Genoa. The hosts have lost a remarkable five games in succession and need to stop the rot this weekend.

Rounding off the weekend’s action, Roma – who have lost three of their last four – take on a Torino side that has a more solid look about them in recent weeks.

Bring on the action!
