Barcelona will be looking to close the gap on La Liga leaders Real Madrid this weekend when they travel to Sevilla on Saturday evening, in a game you can watch live streaming with Bet365 (see below).
As things stand, Pep Guardiola’s men trail 1st position by ten points, but with Madrid not playing until Sunday, Barca can cut this gap to seven points if they go to Sevilla and win.
Recent form suggests they will do just that too. The reigning Champions have won their last four La Liga games, responding superbly well to the disappointing 3-2 defeat to Osasuna back in February.

Progression has been made in the Champions League too with a massive 7-1 victory over Bayer Leverkusen booking their place in the quarter-finals of the competition. So, even though Madrid have the advantage in the league, Barcelona still have plenty to play for this season.
They should look at the situation in the league positively too. It only takes Madrid dropping points a couple of times for Barcelona to be back in the race. Then, the two teams play each other in April and this could end up being crucial.
As for Sevilla, they have had a rather frustrating campaign and currently sit 12th in the table. Realistically they are not going down, nor are they showing signs on an immediate European challenge.
Having said that, they are only five points from the second Europa League qualification position. Therefore, a positive run over the next couple of weeks and they could have a successful end to the campaign.
Looking at their recent form, it has followed the pattern of their entire campaign – inconsistent. The last four games have seen them win two, draw one and lose one in La Liga and they have only won back to back games on two occasions this season.
When these two teams met earlier in the current campaign though, Sevilla managed to secure a valuable 0-0 draw at the Nou Camp and they would love to do the same again in front of their home fans.
This one gets underway at 7pm on Saturday evening.
