Sinclair ready for the Premier League

Swansea City midfielder, Scott Sinclair, has claimed that he can’t wait for the new Premier League season to begin.

The winger had a heroic performance in last season’s Championship playoff final, and was granted an extended summer break by manager, Brendan Rodgers.

The 22 year-old was a part of England’s U-21 European Championship in Denmark earlier this summer, but is already chomping at the bit to get started:

“The gaffer gave me a little extra time off to rest after the European Championship which has helped me, but I can’t wait to get back into training and play.”

Sinclair had an unsuccessful time at Chelsea where he was regularly loaned out, but the winger is confident that he and Swansea can be successful in the top flight, and the new campaign couldn’t begin sooner:

“Last season was my first real season and I played 50-odd games,”

“It was natural to be tired. But I’m not tired now. I’m totally 100 per cent fit and I’m raring to go.”
