Wales have bounced back well since their opening weekend defeat to Ireland as they have been victorious in France and Italy. They need England to slip-up this weekend to have any chance of winning the tournament, but should be confident they can beat this Scotland team.
The hosts have also performed well in their last two matches, beating Italy and Ireland. The performance against the Irish last time out was a sign that Scotland are capable of grinding out results and they must be as disciplined and organised this weekend as they were last month.
This should be a superb encounter to kick-start the weekend.
Then, France head to Dublin to take on Ireland in what is a battle between two teams that have been extremely disappointing in the Six Nations so far this year.
The French team have lost all three of their matches, something that no one was expecting as they were considered one of the front-runners for the tournament before it got underway.
All they have left to play for now is pride and they certainly need to show a bit of determination and passion here after some lacklustre performances.
Ireland have also been frustrated with their displays as they won the first match against Wales, but have since lost to England and Scotland. With the roar of the Dublin crowd behind them, the Irish look to be good value to win here at 11/10.
These two might not be winning the Six Nations this time out, but both are desperate for a victory this weekend.
Finally, England entertain Italy on Sunday afternoon and Stuart Lancaster’s men will look to take another step towards a famous Grand Slam tournament win.
The Three Lions have been very impressive so far as they have had to grind out results in some matches, but played a superb brand of rugby in others.
It is safe to say England are the huge favourites for this one as they are currently being tipped at 1/41 to come out on top.
They cannot afford to take the Italians lightly though as although they are probably the weakest team on paper, they have shown this year they can compete against strong teams and beat France in the opening weekend of the Six Nations.
However, with this being at Twickenham, it is tough to see anything other than an emphatic home win and if England are anywhere near their best, they should be on the score-sheet plenty on times on Sunday afternoon.
It should be a very entertaining weekend in the Six Nations and as always, we are sure to see some top class rugby and passionate performances on Saturday and Sunday.
