Skipper pleased with Aston Villa resilience
Stiliyan Petrov is impressed with the resolve his team showed to earn a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park on the weekend.
The midfielder was also overjoyed to score a long range cracker against the Toffees, claiming: “I don’t do tap-ins.”
The holding midfielder said: “It was great to get a goal and hopefully now I can get a few more.”
He added: “We were much better in the second half. We changed it a bit, played two up front with Gabby and Darren, which created some problems for them. We got a grip of the game and a good, solid result in the end.”
