Sneijder to decide destination by Wednesday

Dutch star, Wesley Sneider, has revealed that he expects his future to be resolved in the near future.

Manchester United have shown an interest in the midfielder for the majority of the summer, and rivals Manchester City have recently joined the race for his signature.

Sneijder spoke about Inter’s money problems and that he expects the cash-strapped side to cash in on their £35m-rated talisman.

United are believed to be unlikely to match the Dutchman’s £200,000-a-week wages, however City might be more likely to stump up the money.

Sneijder will be a part of the Holland squad that play England in a friendly on Wednesday, and will perhaps go up against United midfielder, Tom Cleverley.

Cleverley has drawn great praise for his second-half performance in Sunday’s Community Shield, leading some to question whether the Premier League champions really need to pay £35m for another midfielder.

The Champions League medal winner commented on the matter, saying: “I can be very brief about the interest from Manchester United and City: I haven’t spoken with either of those two clubs, so I can’t really say much about my future at the moment.”
