Spain and France meet in the quarter-finals on Euro 2012 on Saturday night and it has the makings of being a classic – however these things never turn out the way you hope, as Bet365 have reported punters are piling into the 6/1 on offer for the 0-0, with the bookmaker refunding bets if the game ends 0-0.

Looking at Spain to begin with, they will be happy to have progressed from a tough group as winners and remain unbeaten in doing so.

Vicente Del Bosque’s men are now one step closer to winning their third major tournament in a row but know it will take a big performance to reach the final four.

Last time out, Spain beat Croatia 1-0 with a goal late on from Jesus Navas which made certain of their place in the knockout stages.

Bet365 will kindly offer free bets worth £200/€200 to spend on any Euro 2012 market or game, including all the Quarter Final fixtures this week! They’re also refunding bets if the game ends 0-0! Pick up your exclusive free bet here!

Fernando Torres has started the last two matches and is likely to lead the line yet again this time out. With his two goals of the tournament coming against Republic of Ireland, this will be a big test for Torres to prove himself against a genuine contender for Euro 2012.

Del Bosque will hope that his big name players will show their class and experience in these pressure matches as they look to make the semi-final.

As for France, they were defeated 2-0 by Sweden last time out which ended their unbeaten run of 23 games.

This result saw them finish Group D in second place and they now know what a tough task it will be to make it to the semi-finals as they have to go up against the world and European Champions.

Laurent Blanc will need Karim Benzema to find his form in front of goal. The Real Madrid man is yet to score in the tournament which given the form he had been in prior to the competition, may come as a surprise to many.

With the defeat to Sweden, France could have hit a dip in form at the worst possible time. Blanc’s task is to now lift his players and restore the confidence in his squad. However, they should be happy to have made this stage of the tournament and should not need much motivation to come out on top here.

It should be a great match between two sides that love to play attacking football. It all gets underway from 7.45pm on Saturday.
