Keep an eye on some National Hunt horse racing from Kempton Park on Boxing Day as there is a number of big races taking place. Some of the highlights of the season are at this time of year, so if you like your racing – you don’t want to be missing this.
England conclude their winter tour of India on Saturday with a Twenty20 match that they need to win to draw the series. Elsewhere in cricket, Australia and Sri Lanka go head to head in their second Test match on December 30.
For all you rugby union fans, there are plenty of Aviva Premiership matches taking place this weekend.
