Tottenham Hotspur and Leyton Orient have won the case to be granted a judicial review into the decision to award West Ham United the Olympic Stadium after the 2012 Olympic Games.
West Ham were originally selected by the Olympic Park Legacy Company over both Spurs and Leyton Orient as the preferred tenant of the £486million stadium, however both clubs are now challenging West Ham’s £40million loan they have received from their local authorities to fund the move.
Following the appeal, Tottenham have been granted permission to undergo a legal challenge by Mr Justice Collins, who made the decision whether Tottenham have an arguable case.
A further hearing will be soon made where all three clubs will produce an argument supporting their case.
