Tottenham v Fulham odds : The Cottagers aim for derby win in quest to survive relegation

Fulham are considered 5/1 outsiders by Paddy Power to beat Tottenham on Saturday afternoon as they look to try and conjure another great escape from the jaws of relegation.

There is never an easy ride for Fulham fans at the end of the season and their hopes of Premier League survival could depend on the result they get from their visit to White Hart Lane against Tottenham on Saturday lunchtime.

Chelsea 2/1 to beat Sunderland!!

The Cottagers find themselves just two points from safety and they could potentially climb out of the relegation zone if they are able to notch up a third win in a row.

It’s likely that Felix Magath will stick with a similar line-up to the one that beat Norwich with Hugo Rodallega starting upfront in the absence of the injured Damien Duff and Kostas Mitroglou.

However, playmaker Lewis Holtby is ineligible for the game against his parent club meaning that Ashkan Dejagah will start in his place.

If Fulham are to beat Spurs on Saturday, it could be Colombian striker Rodallega who makes all the difference considering that the big striker has scored both of their winning goals in their last two games against Aston Villa and Norwich.

Tottenham won’t be looking to do their London compatriots any favours though as Spurs look to somehow salvage a spot in Europe after a very inconsistent 2014 has left them stranded in sixth place.

Injuries have certainly taken their toll on Tim Sherwood’s side and there have been hints that the likes of Erik Lamela, Michael Dawson and Etienne Capoue are all potentially out for the rest of the season.

With this in mind, The Lilywhites are likely to continue giving some of their fringe players such as Vlad Chirches and Harry Kane the chance to prove their worth to the team as the season draws to a close.

Despite many of their key players being out injured, Spurs will still be able to rely on Danish playmaker Christian Eriksen to cause their opponents some trouble as he has notched up 4 goals and 3 assists in his last 4 games.

However, it will take more than one player to help Spurs stave off a Fulham side who will be looking to use their new-found confidence and momentum to pull off the great escape and survive relegation for yet another season.
