It is understood that Tottenham Hotspur are on the brink of finalising a deal for Scott Parker.
The West Ham midfielder has been linked with a move away from the Hammers all summer, however the Footballer of the Year surprisingly started the season with the Championship club and looked likely to stay with them.
Queens Park Rangers had a bid rejected for the England international, but a move to Spurs is looking imminent as they look set to conclude a deal.
The deal originally included Tottenham midfielder Jake Livermore moving to West Ham on loan; however the youngster rejected the move, which put the move in doubt. This then led to Wilson Palacios’ move to Stoke City blocked as Spurs would be left short of midfield options.
Despite this, the Parker deal has now been resolved which will give the Palacios move the green light.
