Steve Bruce ready to go for Nick Powell

The Hull City manager is keen on acquiring the services of the Manchester United youngster for the remainder of the season as he looks to guide his team to safety

According to reports, the former Manchester United defender has already had a mild conversation with Louis van Gaal regarding the possibility of signing Powell on loan for the remainder of the season. The young Englishman was sent out on loan to Leicester City earlier this season but was called back this January after he was not given a fair amount of chances to prove his worth.

Last season, Powell was on loan at Wigan Athletic and really put in consistently impressive displays and the Dutchman wants him to do exactly the same if the former Crew Alexandra youth is able to engineer a move to the Tigers by the end of the January transfer window.
