Reports from Lancashire are claiming that both Stoke City and Blackburn Rovers are to join QPR in the race to sign Wigan Athletic winger Victor Moses over the summer should the Latics suffer relegation.
Moses has been noted as a good up and coming youngster and numerous teams feel he could add an edge to their attacking options for next season. Primarily a winger, Moses can also play up front as a striker and also occasionaly as an attacking central midfielder.
For Blackburn this represents a chance to add some more pace to the forward line and Stoke City wish to bring in some younger legs in order to freshen things up for their possible European campaign next season. Should Manchester City finish fourth then Stoke will automatically qualify for the Europa League.
With QPR also rumoured to be interested in the 20 year old bids will be coming in thick and fast should Roberto Martinez’s men finish the season in the bottom three and with Moses currently valued at around £2m, the price tag is very likely to rise with so much interest.
