Stoke City closing in on Tottenham midfielder
Stoke City are closing in on Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Wilson Palacios with the club ready to make an acceptable bid this week.
The 27 year old has been linked with a move away this summer although his most likely destination was believe to that of a side in the Italian Serie A. Whilst Stoke may not conjure up the same sort of setting than somewhere in Italy, the Potters consider Palacios a key player they would like to have on their books for the upcoming season.
The former Wigan midfielder could be interested in a switch back up North though although Stoke will have to make an offer expected to be above £8m for the Honduran’s services.
