Stoke City’s Tony Pulis has suggested that the club will invest in adding more quality to the side this summer admitting that he wants the Potters to do well in the Europa League next season.
Stoke City qualified for next seasons competition by making the FA Cup final and by Manchester City guaranteeing Champions League football. Pulis however realises the need for squad improvement in a tournament that could add 15 gruelling fixtures should you make it all the way to the final.
“We need to bring in more quality over the summer because we want to give it our best shot in Europe, the chairman will make sure everything is sensible but we want to bring in better players.”
The Stoke City manager added.
“Our aim is to keep progressing. Hopefully, we can add to what we’ve already got.”
