As for Everton, they had a very impressive 4-0 win over Fulham on Saturday, a result that kept them two points ahead of local rivals Liverpool.
Nikica Jelavic was yet again on the score-sheet for the Toffees, adding another two goals to his tally for the season. The January signing now has seven goals in his last four matches.
David Moyes’ men are now unbeaten in their last six Premier League matches and have scored four goals in each of their last three encounters.
Moyes and his side have won just one of their previous eight matches on their travels though, drawing five. They will be looking to turn these draws into victories as they look to keep a gap between them and their local rivals.
Stoke ran out 1-0 winners earlier in the season at Goodison Park, so will go into this game knowing that they can beat an Everton side in great form.
It should be a good match between two strong Premier League sides and it all gets underway from 7.45pm on Tuesday.
