Saturday’s early kick off sees Tottenham travel to the Stadium of Light to take on Sunderland, with the Black Cats looking the value with Ladbrokes at odds of around 2/1 as they look to push on after their superb performance against Man City last weekend.
Marin O’Neill’s side sit in ninth and will want a strong finish to the season as they aim for a top seven finish.
The Black Cats became the first side to take a point from Manchester City at The Ethiad Stadium on Saturday, although they will feel like it was two points dropped. Sunderland had been 3-1 up in going into the final five minutes, City then struck twice to deny O’Neill’s side the victory.

Sunderland have lost just once in the last five Premier League games. Summer signing Nicolas Bendtner has started to show his ability too, scoring four in his last five.
One of the main aims for them now is to finish strongly and build momentum for next season.
As for Tottenham, they looked back to their best against Swansea on Sunday. Despite a slight scare when the Welsh side equalised, it was quite a comfortable afternoon for Harry Redknapp’s men.

The return to form of Gareth Bale and Emmanuel Adebayor was a big boost for Spurs. Bale was unplayable at times while Adebayor was on the score sheet twice. Aaron Lennon also made his comeback from injury and the England winger was involved in the third goal.
The North London side will see this trip as a must win game to keep hot on the heels of rivals Arsenal in third place. However, they will be aware that they have to overcome a Sunderland side who have only lost once at home in the league since November.
Spurs will go into the game as slight favourites and with their attack firing on all cylinders it will be tough for Sunderland to keep them at bay.
It should be a great game at the Stadium of Light and it all gets underway from 12:45 on Saturday.
