Midfield pair, Nathan Dyer and Joe Allen have entered talks with Swansea as they enter the last years of their current contracts.
Freshly promoted Swansea are looking to tie the two down to long-term deals rather than risk losing the two on free transfers next summer.
Dyer told the Swans website: “The club is talking to my representatives at the moment,”
“My career has really developed here at Swansea and the manager (Brendan Rodgers) has really helped me a lot.”
And Welsh international, Allen, is equally as happy to stay with the South Wales club, stating: “We are close to an agreement,”
Allen also added: “There are a couple of little things that need sorting, but hopefully everything will be sorted soon.”
