Liverpool make the journey to Wales to take on Swansea at the Liberty Stadium this weekend in the final game of the season for both sides, as Ladbrokes report all the money has been for Brendan Roger’s side to end their season on a high with victory at 13/5.

Swansea have enjoyed a fantastic first campaign in Premier League and can go into this final day in party atmosphere knowing that another year in the top flight is guaranteed.

The Swans are currently twelfth on 44 points and should results go their way this weekend they could still end up finishing in the top ten. Brendan Rodgers will be looking for a big performance from his side.

The Welsh team were far from disgraced at Old Trafford last time out when they lost 2-0. It was a match Manchester United were looking to rack up lots of goals in, so they did well to restrict them to just two.

It is now just one win in eight matches for Rodgers’ men, something he will certainly want to change on home soil on Sunday.

With just four defeats at the Liberty this campaign, Swansea have made their ground somewhat of a fortress.

As for Liverpool, they would have been extremely disappointed after their FA Cup final defeat to Chelsea over the weekend. Delivering success in both domestic cups was the only real way to save face on what has been a poor league season.

The Reds currently sit in eighth position in the table, with the only objective now to try and finish above local rivals Everton in seventh.

Kenny Dalglish’s side did play Chelsea again in the Premier League in midweek and ran out 4-1 winners.

Andy Carroll was in terrific form that evening and at times bullied John Terry. Carroll will now want to put in another strong performance to try and stake a claim for a place in England’s Euro 2012 squad this summer.

Liverpool have now won back to back matches on the road, results that will give them confidence of picking up all three points here.

It all gets underway from 3pm on Sunday.
