The legendary French striker has some intriguing comments on the Arsenal fans that abused Arsene Wenger after the Stoke defeat and new Gunners star Alexis Sanchez.
Henry’s asserted that the criticism of Wenger after the defeat to Stoke in early December was a “joke”.
“I thought it was a joke. You can be upset. I totally understand that. But when I saw what happened at Stoke I was like ‘that’s totally unnecessary’. Fans do have a voice. I totally understand that, but what I saw after the Stoke City game was out of order.” said Henry.
The former Arsenal striker continued that we can express that fans are upset, but to do it in that was a bit too much. But in the game at the moment unfortunately that is the way it is.
He goes on to say that Alexis Sanchez is the best signing since Arsenal brought a young Frenchman from Juventus eight years ago.
The Gunners all-time leading scorer hails Sanchez and said that his former gaffer Wenger was looking for a player like that who can deliver on a daily basis and he has found one.
“Sanchez is brilliant – he has a high workrate and vision, he can see the game incredibly as you saw with the goal on Sunday. He scores goals and doesn’t need a lot of opportunities to put the ball in the back of the net.” said Henry.
Henry adds on Sanchez that still it is early days for Chilean, but so far it is very good. He is doing extremely well and he is going to score goals in future. But it is his all-round game that is so impressive and that has no price.
