Tottenham Boss Ready to Experiment

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp had revealed that he is ready to experiment with his squad in Thursday’s Europa League play-off against Hearts. Tottenham go in to the second leg at the Lane with a 5-0 advantage after an impressive display at Tynecastle last week.

Due to a high number of injuries and a massive Premier League fixture against Manchester City on Sunday, Redknapp has confirmed that youngsters Andros Townsend, Harry Kane and Tom Carroll are all in contention to play on Thursday night.

“It’s a great opportunity for them,” said Harry. “It will be a great experience for them to play in a European game at White Hart Lane and it will give me the chance to have a look at them up against good opposition.”

Winger Andros Townsend has already made his full debut in a spectacular appearance for Spurs in the FA Cup against Charlton last season, topping the performance off with a goal. Townsend also appeared in the first leg at Tynecastle, coming off the bench and was involved in Tottenham’s fifth goal.

Spurs currently are without several key players, including: Tom Huddlestone, Luka Modric, Ledley King, William Gallas, Danny Rose, Wilson Palacios, Sandro, and Steven Pienaar.
