Tottenham consider Fulham striker swap deal

Tottenham boss, Harry Redknapp, has offered Peter Crouch to Fulham in a deal that would see fellow England striker, Bobby Zamora, move in the opposite direction.

Zamora had an unsuccessful spell at White Hart Lane in 2004, failing to score in 16 league appearances.

Zamora has found new success at Fulham, despite a spat of injuries keeping him from regular football for some time last season.

It’s been thought for some time that Tottenham are seeking offensive reinforcements with Crouch and Roman Pavlyuchenko expected to be moving away from the North London club for some time.

Redknapp is thought to be a big fan of 30 year-old Zamora, and could move for the forward, whether Crouch makes the switch to Fulham or not.
