Harry Redknapp has revealed that he is definitely interested in bringing David Beckham to White Hart Lane and claims the 36 year-old is still good enough to compete in the Premier League.
Spurs were close to signing the England veteran in January, and could go one step better this year, when Beckham’s contract at LA Galaxy expires at the end of the MLS season.
Speaking to The Sun, the Spurs manager said: “If David wants to come to Tottenham I’d welcome him with open arms.”
He added: “I know first hand because we had him here last winter and he was terrific around the place. You couldn’t find a nicer fella and a better professional.”
QPR are also being linked with a move for Beckham, as Tony Fernandes look sto continue his club overhaul.
