Tottenham eye Barcelona starlet
Reports have suggested that Harry Redknapp’s Tottenham may be closing in on a deal that takes Barcelona winger, Ibrahim Afellay, to White Hart Lane.
The youngster was a part of Barcelona’s line-up that took on Internacional in the Audi Cup on Tuesday night, where Tottenham chief scout, Ian Broomfield, was on hand to watch.
Dutch international, Afellay, came to the Nou Camp in January but the midfielder could be hoping for a move away, after being limited to substitute appearances.
Rumours have also claimed that the Dutchman could be available for as little as £4m as Barca look to offload some extra baggage to fund a move for Arsenal’s Cesc Fabregas.
