Tottenham international rejects Fulham in favour of Aston Villa
Alan Hutton is ready to sign for Aston Villa after rejecting a late attempt from Fulham to gain his signature.
The right-back has been budged out of the first team line-up at White Hart Lane by Vedran Corluka, and Kyle Walker is waiting in the wings to leapfrog the duo.
Hutton will also link up with fellow Scot, Alex McCleish, and may fancy his chances of regular football under his compatriot.
The Villans were forced to hand Chris Herd his first Premier League start against Wolves on Saturday, and the Australian will provide fierce competition for the Tottenham full-back, should he sign for Villa.
