Tottenham Norwich Odds : Spurs seeking Champions League confirmation

Tottenham will be looking for a crucial three points to consolidate their place in the top four on Monday afternoon when they host a Norwich side that sit comfortably in mid-table, as punters pile into the home side at 4/11.

Harry Redknapp’s men were held at Sunderland on Saturday, meaning that they are only three points above Chelsea and Newcastle who both still have top four ambitions this season.

With only six games remaining, this one is without doubt a must win for Tottenham as they look to finish what has been a very exciting campaign on a high note. They will certainly be hoping that they can find their early season form for the next month or so.

In their last home game, there was no doubt that Spurs looked back to near their best. Gareth Bale, Emmanuel Adebayor and Rafael Van der Vaart were all excellent during the 3-1 win over Swansea City.

It is these players that need to step up in the remaining six games too. Under pressure, Tottenham need to show why they deserve a place in the top four this season. They have the quality and now it is about putting it into action.

As for Norwich, they reached the 40-point mark with a 2-2 draw at home to Everton on Saturday. The Canaries were behind twice in the game, but managed to fight back to earn a valuable point.

It means that they sit 12 points above the relegation zone with six games to go and there is no doubt that it would be an incredible turnaround if they weren’t a Premier League team next season.

Paul Lambert’s men do have a tough run-in – with this trip to White Hart Lane included – but their work in the season so far should be enough to keep them up. Who knows, they might even have a surprise result or two left in them.

Tottenham are favourites for this one though and they are definitely in more desperate need of the points. Norwich can relish the occasion, but there is no getting away from how tough a task this is for them.

This one gets underway at 3pm on Monday afternoon.
