Harry Redknapp is poised to offer Liverpool midfielder, Joe Cole, a route out of his Liverpool nightmare and straight to White Hart Lane.
The two worked together when Redknapp was manager at West Ham, and the two are keen to reunite, with Cole striving to stay at the top of English football.
The 29 year-old has been a flop at Liverpool since signing last year on a free transfer under Roy Hodgson.
The midfielder has failed to recapture the form that saw him achieve great success at Chelsea, but the Spurs manager is confident he can revive Cole’s glory days.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Redknapp stated: “I wouldn’t say to you that I wouldn’t sign him, because I’d be lying.”
The former Portsmouth and West Ham manager added: “I’d love the chance to work with him again, because I think he’s a talent and a great lad.”
