Tottenham set for talks with Spanish striker
Tottenham will open talks with Athletic Bilbao, in regards to a move for their star forward Fernando Llorente, when the Spanish club visit White Hart Lane for a friendly.
Spurs manager, Harry Redknapp, is already understood to have spoken with Bilbao officials, however formal negotiations will be held once the Spanish side settle in London.
Llorente has seen some impressive seasons at Bilbao, last season netting 19 goals in twice as many appearances.
The arrival of the 6ft 5inch forward could prompt the exit of either Peter Crouch or Roman Pavlyuchenko, both of which have been linked with a move away from the club this summer.
