Tottenham Hotspur forward Roman Pavlyuchenko will not be leaving White Hart Lane before the end of the transfer window, according to his agent.
The Russian international has been linked with a move away from Spurs all summer, and rumours have been strengthened recently following heavy competition for places at the club.
Despite signing 10 players this summer, Premier League club Sunderland have been linked with Pavlyuchenko as they are keen to bring in a new striker as they have found it hard to replace England international Darren Bent since his departure to Aston Villa in Janurary.
Portuguese club Porto have also been linked with a move for the Tottenham player.
Despite this, Pavluchenko’s agent Oleg Artemov has stated that the player will be going nowhere and will still be a Tottenham player after the transfer window closes, however hasn’t ruled out a move in the New Year.
“Roman is staying at Tottenham at least until the next transfer window,” he told Sovetskiy Sport.
