Blackpool have surprised many with their strong early form this season and the team will look to extend their unbeaten run on Tuesday as they pay a visit to struggling Millwall.
The Tangerines have reinforced their side over the summer break and the side look set to hand new loan signing Bradley Orr his first full start for the club.
There are a couple of doubts surrounding Blackpool’s defence with Craig Cathcart featuring a late fitness test and left back Jack Robinson will miss the game after getting sent off against Bournemouth on Saturday.
Millwall will be hoping that they can finally end their dismal start to the season which has seen them yet to win a game so far this season.
But the club will be buoyed by the possible return of striker Steve Morison whose goals have often helped rescue the club out of many tough situations in the past and will hope that he will pass a late fitness test.
The other main highlight of tonight’s fixtures sees Watford host Doncaster Rovers which will be headlined by the inclusion of a certain Federico Macheda in the Rovers’ line-up.
Macheda joined Doncaster on a month-loan deal from Manchester United and is expected to be main threat to the Watford defence throughout the game.
Other than Macheda’s arrival, there aren’t many changes to Paul Dickov’s side that will be keen to elevate themselves from their lowly 17th position in the league.
Meanwhile, Watford will be hoping to get back into the play-off spots with victory over Doncaster but the side will be missing two key components of their midfield.
Almen Abdi will still be out of the squad with a foot injury that also kept him out of Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Charlton meanwhile Iriney is now a doubt after suffering a leg injury at the weekend.
Some good news for Watford though is the return of Joel Ekstrand to their defence after being out for the last few days with a virus.
