FC Twente will look to ensure their progress to the last 16 of the Europa League when they go up against Steaua Bucharest on Thursday.
The Dutch side take a slender 1-0 advantage into the second-leg thanks to Ola John’s second half effort in Bucharest, and now they’ll be confident of getting the job done in front of their own fans at the De Grolsch Veste.
Former England boss Steve McLaren returned to the scene of perhaps his greatest managerial triumph earlier this season having been deemed a failure with both Wolfsburg and Nottingham Forest in his time away from the Netherlands.
While the former Middlesbrough boss looks unlikely to guide Twente to the league title this season, the Enschede have been in excellent form of late and would dearly love to add a place in the next round of the Europa League to their charge for Champions League qualification.

Having won four of their last five games, Twente sit in 4th in the Eredivisie, just three points adrift of league leaders PSV with a game in hand on all three of the teams above them.
Bucharest meanwhile go into the game on the back of some indifferent form, although a win last weekend against Juventus Bucureşti will have done wonders for their confidence ahead of their tough trip to the Netherlands.
Before that just two wins in their last five games left them off the pace in the Liga I table, with eight points separating them in 4th place from rivals Dinamo Bucureşti who currently occupy top spot.
The two sides have met before in the Europa League, with little to choose between them when they met back in the group stages of the 2009 competition.
Twente were held to a 0-0 draw at home when they first met while the Dutch outfit were able to achieve a similar result when they travelled to Bucharest and secured a 1-1 draw to ensure their progress to the knockout stages that year.
How will the 2012 encounter between these two teams go though? Find out from 6pm on Thursday.
