Wells signs up with Bradford City on one-year deal

Following a pre-season trial with the club, Nahki Wells has penned a one-ear contract at the Coral Windows Stadium.

The Bermudan striker scored twice in the Bantams’ pre-season friendly last week and manager, Peter Jackson, has been impressed with the form of the 21 year-old:

“I’ve been impressed with Nahki since he’s come here. I think anyone who has seen him play in pre-season will say that he has made an impact in the games that he has come into.”

Jackson is confident that Bradford will benefit from Nakhi’s natural ability, stating:

“He will add pace to our squad, and he has League experience from his time with Carlisle. I felt last season we lacked pace, but the introduction of players like Nahki will obviously help to change that.”
