West Bromwich Albion manager, Roy Hodgson, has offered injury-prone midfielder, Owen Hargreaves, a contract at the Hawthorns after he passed a medical with the club.
The 30 year-old was released by Manchester United earlier this summer after he was limited to just seven minutes of first team football with the club last year.
Hodgson commented on the matter, saying: “We made it clear: ‘Look we’ve done the test, we agree with you that the knee’s okay and you can play football. And of course if you’d like to come to play for us that would be lovely.”
“He didn’t go through a stringent medical, but he was looked at by someone who should know what he’s talking about,” the manager added.
Hargreaves is also being chased by QPR as well as a number of MLS sides.
