West Brom’s Chris Brunt could miss the team’s trip to the Liberty Stadium on Saturday after he picked up a knee injury in a Monday training session.
The Baggies made away with a smash and grab three points against Norwich City on Sunday, after scoring in the third minute and closely defending the victory for the remainder of the game.
Brunt featured in the game and assistant coach, Michael Appleton, said: “Apart from a few bumps and bruises that most people got on Sunday I think the only one that is 50/50 is Chris Brunt.”
He added: “He picked up a knock on his knee in training on Monday. It is nothing serious, it is more precautionary. He seemed to be in a reasonable frame of mind yesterday morning so I don’t think it is too serious.”
