West Ham striker Robbie Keane is adamant that a few wins could mean West Ham steering clear of the Championship next season and believes seven to nine points should be enough to stay away from the bottom three.
West Ham currently lie in bottom spot with 32 points and two wins would certainly give them a chance of survival, Keane however, on loan from Tottenham Hotspur feels it it will be difficult.
“There are a few games to go and if we can get a few wins out of them, if we can get nine or seven points, that could be enough,” Keane, who is preparing for crucial clashes against Blackburn, Wigan and Sunderland.”
The West Ham striker added.
“It’s so close down there for those of us that are involved in it, so it’s difficult circumstances, but I still think we have enough to get ourselves out of it.”
West Ham next face Blackburn on Saturday 7th where a victory would put them just three points behind the Lancashire club who are also far from safe this season.
