New West Ham manager, Sam Allardyce, has claimed that the club are yet to receive a bid for midfielder, Scott Parker.
Parker was expected to be among West Ham’s losses this summer, following the club’s relegation from the Premier League.
West Ham will be looking to return to the Premier League on their first attempt this coming season, and while Parker would certainly help in that attempt, his wages are a considerable factor for the now-Championship side.
Another player suspected of leaving the East Londoners was Robert Green, but after the club rejected a bid from West Brom, ‘Big Sam’ expects to hold on to the stopper, stating: “I think we might have had one from West Brom but that was rejected.”
When asked whether he thought the deal would yet go through, the manager commented: “No, because I think they have taken Ben Foster haven’t they?”
